Jollibee Upgrades Burger Steak, Introduces New Burger Steak Supreme Until July 31

Jollibee has upgraded its Burger Steak rice meal and has also introduced a new variant, Burger Steak Supreme, as Filipino families continue to look for meals that are delicious, satisfying and affordable.

The Philippines’ no. 1 fast food chain said the improved Burger Steak now comes with more sauce to enhance flavor and overall experience, while keeping its starting price at ₱70 for a solo order.

“We’re seeing that customers are paying closer attention to taste, how filling a meal is, and price, so we’re giving them a pangmalakasang (power-packed) rice meal,” said Dorothy Ching, vice president for marketing of Jollibee Philippines. “We focused on improving the experience of a familiar product while also introducing a new option for those who want a bigger meal.”

The improvement is supported with materials featuring Joshua Garcia, highlighting the need of Filipinos for meals that can fill their cravings.

Jollibee said the move is part of its effort to respond to changing consumer needs, particularly the demand for meals that combine taste, serving size, and affordability.

The saucier-sarap Burger Steak is available nationwide for dine-in, takeout, drive-thru, and delivery. Meanwhile, customers can enjoy the Burger Steak Supreme in select stores only.

Perfect Match Pickle Tournament Rallies Player and Partners for a Cause

ABS-CBN Foundation and Pickleball Hub successfully mounted the Perfect Match Pickleball Tournament, bringing together sport, community, and purpose in a one-day fundraising event.

Held on April 12, 2026, from 9 AM to 9 PM, the tournament gathered around 100 players who competed in an exciting lineup of doubles matches. The event featured three divisions; The Masters, The Prime, and The Next Gen, catering to different age groups and skill levels. A highlight of the day was the Kapamilya Celebrity Exhibition, exclusive to Kapamilya artists and sponsors.

Among those present were ABS-CBN Foundation Managing Director Roberta Lopez Feliciano, Pickleball Hub Co-Founder Rob Henares, and Tournament Director Pardner Azarcon. Kapamilya players who participated included Marc Solis, Tirso Cruz III, Director Andoy Ranay, Cherry Pie Picache, Maika Rivera, Nikki Valdez, and Jervis Manahan.

“At the Foundation now, we’re really making an effort to spread awareness about our advocacies, and pickleball is such a popular sport nowadays. So, it’s just a way to get people interested and to know about what we do. We want to do activities that will pull people in,” Lopez-Feliciano shared in an interview.

“Isa sa mga objectives namin dito sa Pickleball Hub is makatulong sa mga Pilipino. And this is our small little way [of doing that]. And since this is a growing sport, we can invite the players [to join] while the proceeds go directly to the Foundation,” Henares added.

More than just a competition, the tournament served as a platform to support the Foundation’s key advocacies. Proceeds from the event will benefit programs on child protection and development (Bantay Bata 163), disaster response (Sagip Kapamilya), environmental conservation (Bantay Kalikasan), education initiatives (Programa Genio), and sustainable livelihood efforts (GaLing Pamayanan).

Through the Perfect Match Pickleball Tournament, players, partners, and supporters came together for advocacies that help the Filipino people.

Orange & Lemons to Release ‘Too Young To Be Old,’ Announce 2026 European Tour

A deeply personal single leads the band into a new chapter marked by international performances

Iconic Filipino indie pop outfit Orange & Lemons are back with the upcoming release of their new single, “Too Young To Be Old,” alongside the announcement of a European tour set for May-June 2026.

The track explores the complexities of transition and self-awareness, capturing what vocalist and guitarist Clem Castro describes as “that strange middle space where you’re no longer reckless, but not quite settled either.”

“Lyrically, it plays like a quiet conversation with your younger self,” Castro explains. “The verses reflect doubt and self-awareness, while the chorus opens up into something more universal: the
idea that age isn’t just a number, it’s a perspective you sometimes resist. It’s not a sad song, but it carries a gentle ache.”

According to the band’s principal songwriter-producer, “Too Young To Be Old” was inspired by a relationship that made him more aware of time: how differently two people can experience it,
even when they’re in the same moment. “The song came from trying to understand that space and finding something beautiful in it.”

Produced by Castro at his hybrid studio, LILYPOD AUDIO, the track balances analog warmth with modern precision. It also serves as O&L’s first release mixed in Dolby Atmos, which is a surround sound technology that creates an immersive sonic experience. As Clem puts it, the latest release leans toward gentler textures, tighter songwriting, and arrangements that “let the emotions breathe.” It’s classic in spirit, but contemporary in how it’s
framed.

“This track sits right at the heart of where we’re headed. There’s still that 60s/70s melodic sensibility we naturally gravitate toward, but it’s more refined now—less about imitation, more about interpretation.”

The new release also serves as a teaser of what’s to come for their forthcoming new album, VISIONS OF AMBER, which the band promises to be a more cohesive, all-English body of work that hopefully connects beyond borders while retaining the essence of their signature sound.
In tandem with the release, Orange & Lemons are set to embark on a European tour, with stops in major cities, including Dublin, London, Milan, Madrid, Paris, and Amsterdam. The Hanggang Kailan hitmakers also expressed excitement in performing abroad, particularly
for the Filipino community in the region, as well as new listeners from varying backgrounds and ethnicities.

“What excites us most is the contrast: You’re playing for people who may be hearing us for the first time, alongside Filipino communities who’ve carried the music with them wherever they
are,” Castro shares. “There’s something special about that mix. For Filipinos abroad, the songs become a connection to home. For new listeners, it’s a fresh introduction. That shared space—where familiarity and discovery meet—is what we’re really looking forward to.”

As for the set list, O&L emphasized that it will be a balance of the “essential” or the songs people expect to hear and newer material like “Too Young To Be Old,” which marks a new direction in sound and discipline.

“We also paid attention to pacing, making sure the set moves naturally, with moments to lift the energy and moments to bring it back down. It’s designed to work even if it’s your first time seeing us live.”

BINI Caps Coachella 2026 Chapter with Landmark Performance Set

BINI returned to the Coachella stage for their second performance, showcasing pure star power and unmistakable Filipino energy, this Saturday morning (April 18), Philippine Time (PHT) or Friday (April 17), Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), capping their historic chapter as a defining moment for OPM.  

BINI members Aiah, Colet, Maloi, Gwen, Stacey, Mikha, Jhoanna, and Sheena greeted the audience with “Mabuhay” in unison, and most of them introduced themselves in their respective dialects. They also expressed gratitude for the tremendous support they received and the overwhelming opportunity to represent the country once again in one of the world’s biggest music festivals. 

“To everyone watching around the world, we see you! Thank you so much for being here with us again,” thanked Sheena. 

“Last week it was very unforgettable, and we had so much fun! But today, we’re given another chance to represent our beloved country, the Philippines, so we have to make the most out of it,” said Aiah. 

The group performed 10 songs during their 45-minute set, opening with “Strings” this time, followed by “Zero Pressure,” “Out Of My Head,” “Karera,” and “Salamin, Salamin.” They also performed “Blink Twice,” “Cherry On Top,” “Blush,” and “Bikini,” before ending their Coachella 2026 journey with “Patropiko,” which included an electrifying dance break.    

The nation’s girl group also made headlines on X as they dominated the top 3 worldwide trending topics with #BINI_CoachellaWk2, BINI BORN FOR COACHELLA, and #BINICHELLA.

With their Coachella debut, BINI has made history as the first Filipino group to perform on the popular stage. Their April 11 shining moment, their maiden set, was among the highlights of Coachella’s first weekend, as cited in international publications such as Forbes, The Hollywood Reporter, Rolling Stone, and The Guardian. 

Their live performance videos of “Pantropiko” and “Blush,” with over 5 million and 1.8 million views respectively, were also among the most viewed video highlights on the Coachella YouTube channel. 

Meanwhile, Sen. Bam Aquino filed Resolution No. 370 in the Senate lauding BINI for bringing pride and honor to the Philippines and for highlighting Filipino talent and artistry on the world stage.
